Tuesday our Chamber attended a presentation by the Dept. of Commerce requesting business input in an effort to identify and reduce regulatory burdens faced by the business community.
Pictured here are the Hon. Wes Uhlman, Rep. Norma Smith and AWB Government Affairs Director, Mike Ennis. The DOC presentation included an introduction to their Red Tape Index which is based off a European model that identifies measures of different regulatory burdens.
This effort overlaps with the deptartment's implementation of HB 1818 adopted during the 2013 legislative session. HB 1818 was sponsored by Rep.
