Gov. Inslee Visits the Puyallup River Bridge Project

Governor Jay Inslee makes a visit to Puyallup to receive an updated report from Kevin Dayton, WSDOT, regarding the status of the Puyallup River Bridge project.  In addition to talking with some of the construction workers on the bridge project, Governor Inslee also listened to Mayor John Knutsen, City Manager, Kevin Yamamoto, and the Chamber as we listed the impact of the bridge to citizens and businesses in the Puyallup community.  We were also able to emphasize the impact of SR 167's termination in Puyallup.

Governor Inslee spoke about his support of a transportation package that included completion of SR 167 and commented that he is urging legislators to work together to produce a transportation solution for our state's freight corridors.
