Congressman Denny Heck visited with Crocketts and Trackside Pizza owner, Shaun Brobak last week and toured both restaurants in Puyallup to talk about the impact of issues like minimum wage and affordable healthcare on small businesses.
Congressman Heck also visited with newly crowned 2014 Daffodil Queen, Marissa Modestowicz, from Emerald Ridge High School while we were at Trackside Pizza as well as Daffodil Festival Executive Director, Steve James, and the Queen Mom, Carrie Swanlund.
Afterwards he toured the Puyallup Hatchery and spoke with local advocates including Puyallup Councilman, Steve Vermillion, followed by a tour of our Puyallup Southern Wine and Spirits facilities.
