The Chamber's 2016 Putt Putt Classic sponsored by Bill Korum's Puyallup Nissan, and hosted at the Old Cannery Furniture Warehouse last Friday, was the scene of business to business networking at it's finest! Not only were the referrals and introductions getting traction on the putting greens, but a high level of competition could be seen throughout the course.
Congratulations to this year's winners of the Putt Putt Classic Awards:
Best Dressed: Harnish Auto Family |
Best Putt Putt Hole Design: Wild Waves Theme Park |
Best Score: Jeremy |
Three other Chamber members also put the fun in Putt Putt by sponsoring the Prize Wheel Check In: Wesley Homes, Tractor Supply Co. and Olympic Eagle Distributing.
Impressive Signs and Graphics created a super challenging Putt Putt Hole as well as the Golf Cart Races which involved holding a full to the brim cup of water while driving at high speeds around the parking lot and making a pit stop to pick up a map. We need to improve the rule specifications as many attempted to circumvent them in an effort to shave time off their laps. In the end Romeo Ceja from Clearview Realty clocked the best time in the event.
But the cart races were just part of the fun. Our business members who designed and sponsored individually putt putt holes really got into the spirit of this year's event.
