The Chamber is now accepting applications for participation in the 2016 Leadership Institute Program.
The curriculum includes economic development tours in Puyallup and Sumner, interviews with local electeds and officials, interaction with local non-profit organizations and the nearby military installation, JBLM, and access to various local business leaders. Participants in the program network with other emerging leaders in Puyallup and Sumner and enjoy access to opportunities not easily obtained outside of this Chamber program.
Sharpen critical skills essential for effective organizational and community leadership. Each month will be dedicated to specific skill development. Learn what it means and what it takes to be a results-oriented leader. Learn about Board and Committee service. As an L.I. graduate, you will be better prepared for greater responsibility within your sponsor's organization. In addition, you can exercise your newly developed leadership skills by serving in a Puyallup or Sumner nonprofit or community organization leadership role.
